Hand-blown glass Naoshi stand and a bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) in the Shin Kazuho style, handcrafted by the current generation Tanimura Yasaburo using local bamboo that is dried for three years. The handle's thinness sets it apart, and the tines of traditionally made chasen are extremely fine and flexible, perfect for creating luxurious foam! The set is complete with our best-selling Sokuchouzan matcha, made of only one cultivar (one of the three best for matcha).
Shin Kazuho grade is the main whisk used by the Senke schools during tea ceremonies. It is sturdy enough to make usucha and koicha.
