Artemisia (mugwort) is a shrub that grows in the wild and is picked in early spring in the pristine valley of Hadong. Artemisia is in the mugwort family and has a very delicate taste, natural sweetness, and alluring aroma. Traditionally, it is used in Korea and Japan in flavoring and naturally coloring rice cakes. The tea tastes like a perfect pumpkin pie and makes for great iced tea with fresh slices of cucumber!
