Tea was picked from the Lu Shan Feng Tang Mountain at an altitude of 1400 meters from +100-year-old trees with dry storage in Nan Ru Shan, where it was processed. Something magical happens when storage conditions are just right and Sheng and Shou are stored together. The micro cosmo of yeast that coexists in a room filled with different cakes transforms the taste and finish of every bing. Chang Yun Seven is a product of this tiny universe, evident in the mysterious floral aftertaste rarely found in fermented Shou cakes. With time, it has become incredibly smooth and delicate, far from the typical musty, moldy cakes that have come to represent this style. We love to find teas that can make you reassess any stigma that a tea type might have and lead you to a humbling new experience.
