There is something so ethereal about aged Da Hong Pao that leaves you in utter astonishment at its robust aroma yet delicate taste. A completely handmade beauty, dry-aged over a decade, exhibiting a pure aged fragrance and taste referred to as Chen Xiang (陈香). Chen Xiang is denoted by an earthiness that occurs when the natural sugars of the tea slowly break down and evolve into something refined and noble.
We packed this extremely limited release in a small, stainless steel canister to enhance the impact of the aroma of the dry leaves and as a perfect storage vessel. Zheng Yan Da Hong Pao 2008 is a special release from Master Qitong’s reserve collection, and we are extremely excited to share it with you.
Since our first meeting in 2017, all of our Wu Yi Yan Cha are produced by the studio of the renowned Ye Qitong.
